The Ministry of Justice decided to extend the temporary exemption period for 1 more year to stimulate the tourism industry in celebration of [Visit Korea Year], the exemption will be effective until the 31st of December 2025 (KST). 

Extended K-ETA Temporary Exemption Period: 01.01.2025.(Wed) ~ 31.12.2025.(Wed) 

The countries/regions that are currently exempt from K-ETA are subject to this extension. Those who are subject to the exemption will get a pop-up message when they select their nationality during the application.

※ Those who have obtained K-ETA can use it until its expiration date and the application fee paid is non-refundable.
